Supplying your own Artwork for Print
Acceptable Artwork File formats
If you’re supplying your own artwork files for print, we can accept the following formats:
- PDF with bleed marks
- Photoshop PSD
- Illustrator EPS or AI (all fonts to outlines please)
We also accept artwork produced in Microsoft Word, however we charge a conversion fee of £40 to convert to a print ready file.
How to send your Artwork
You can upload your artwork using either Dropbox or WeTransfer. For smaller artwork files, send them to us by e-mail email@example.com together with your instructions. We will clarify receipt of your artwork and move your work onto print.
Please observe the following guidelines when submitting your own artwork.
- Ensure all images are 300dpi or over
- Add a 3mm bleed to all standard ‘A’ sizes (see ‘What is bleed’ below for more instructions)
- Ensure all fonts are embedded or converted to outlines
- Supply artwork as CMYK only
What is Bleed?
Bleed allows us to print your background colours and images right to the edge of your design. Therefore please add an extra 3mm around all the edges of your design. For instance, an A5 leaflet is 148mm x 210mm – however to allow for bleed you need to add 3mm to all edges making your final artwork size 154mm x 216mm.
